The City that Never Sleeps

We spent the weekend in NY for a Giants game, my birthday and Halloween. Great fun!

Oops, I did it again...

I'm going to miss the summer...


We also went to get some pumpkins with our little (or not so little anymore) pumpkins.









So, this summer Megan busted her nose open twice. Well, walking on the rocks along the channel in Grand Haven, she took a little nose dive into a rock and we have another injury. No stitches this time, just a pretty smile.

One more Cedar Point Trip

We spent the last weekend in September at Grandma and Grandpa's. We went to Cedar Point's HalloWeekends. We also went to a pig roast with pony rides, pumpkins and pig, of course.

Tyler's off to School

The first day of school was a whole new experience this year. I wasn't the only one going to school. Tyler started Young Kinders at the elementary school next to mine. He rides the bus from daycare to school. Scott helped him out the first 2 days and I was even able to quick give him a hug while he waited the first day during my lunch break. So far he is loving school. He quickly found out the definition of recess.

Praying Mantis

We found a praying mantis that was about 3 inches long. Megan liked holding it before we let it go in the flower bed.

Tyler's 5th Birthday

Timber - oops!

Megan and cousin Natalie were playing timber on the bed and Megan split her nose open to the bone. 9 stitches later and she's still our little princess. She took it like a champ, following in big brothers footsteps. Almost a week after getting her stitches out, she ran into the counter getting lunch at MacDonald's and it split open...again. Some glue and strips and another trip to the emergency room and she was back together. :)

Go Giants

We were able to cheer for cousin Adam in the Giants v. Lions game. He played almost 3 quarters. We had some time after the game for hugs and pictures. Megan and Ty got to try on the Superbowl ring.

Julie and JP

Julie and JP came to visit. We tried to keep up biking in Riley Trails.

Ohio Trip

We spent a week in Ohio at the Grandparents and cousins. We went to the zoo, Cedar Point, swimming and boating. Fun!

4th of July

We had lots of time to spend with Grandma and Grandpa B at the campground. We watched the fireworks from the boat and spent the rest of the holiday weekend with Scott's brother's family. Lots of fun in the sun...finally.
